This weekend, for the 10th year in a row, college football coaches will support the Coach to Cure MD program to raise money and awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

It's a special program for Urban Meyer and Ohio State, who have befriend Jacob Jarvis, the brave 17-year-old high school junior and fan that suffers from the incurable disease.

Meyer and the Buckeyes will wear special patches on their shirts Saturday night in Piscataway, New Jersey when they take on Rutgers.

But the program is going beyond just raising awareness.

For the fourth year in a row, it raised $10,000 to donate to the cause in Jarvis' name.

“When he comes into a room, it gives you a little perspective on your life,” Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett has said. “He brightens up everybody each and every time he comes around us. He’s a Buckeye and just a kid that loves Ohio State and the people around Ohio State.”

Fans can support the fight to end Duchenne by going to CoachtoCureMD.org or by texting the word CURE to 50555 to make a $10 donation.
