After managing only 13 first-half points, Ohio State put up 36 points after halftime to run away from Indiana, 49-21, in the season opener for both teams.

The Buckeyes were led by true freshman running back J.K. Dobbins, who earned his first start in place of the injured Mike Weber. He rushed for a game-high 181 yards on 29 carries, though he did not find the end zone.

Second-ranked Ohio State returns to action on Sept. 9, as it plays host to No. 7 Oklahoma. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. on ABC.
