Curtis Samuel is officially a millionaire.

The former Ohio State star H-back signed a four-year deal with the Carolina Panthers, who drafted him 40th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, on Friday morning. The deal is worth a projected $6,543,367 and includes a signing bonus of more than $2.8 million, according to Spotrac.

Samuel rushed for 771 yards and eight touchdowns and also caught 74 passes for 865 yards and seven more scores for the Buckeyes in 2016. He was the only player in college football last year with at least 750 rushing and 750 receiving yards, on his way to an All-American and first-team All-Big Ten season.

The Panthers said four other draft picks, including first-rounder Christian McCaffrey, have also signed their first NFL contracts.

NFL minicamps open this weekend.
