Ohio State didn't finish with the College Football Playoff Trophy, but it finished with a No. 4 ranking in the final Coaches Poll of the 2015 season.

Six Big Ten teams made an appearance, ranging from Ohio State at No. 4 to Northwestern at No. 22.

Tom Herman's Houston trampolined off Florida State's broken corpse into No. 8, up from its No. 16 pre-Peach Bowl ranking. 

Rose Bowl champion Stanford is the highest rated two-loss team; it finished at No. 3.
