We knew when Joey Bosa left the Fiesta Bowl field it would be the last time we saw him in an Ohio State jersey as a player. What we didn't expect was a first quarter targeting penalty that earned him an ejection.
Bosa needlessly apologized to Buckeye Nation in a tweet from the locker room. After the game he returned to the field in street clothes to mingle with his Buckeye teammates during a post-win scrum one last time.
In this video shot by 11W's Eric Seger, Bosa can be seen embracing teammates from Tommy Schutt to Donovan Munger to Sam Hubbard and Tyquan Lewis.
He also gave Ohio State fans one last shrug on his way back out the door:
