Earlier this month, the NFL made headlines for fining Pittsburgh Steeler DE Cameron Heyward for his "Iron Head" eye black that honored his late father who battled cancer.

Heyward doubled down on the eye black last Sunday during a 25-13 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

It appears, however, that will be the last time we see "IRON HEAD" on his eye black, though the former Ohio State standout will continue to wear the eye black in honor of his father.

It's all part of a settlement with the NFL on the matter. Oh, and Heyward is using this opportunity to create a cancer research charity partnership with Eyeblack.com.

The high road: Always the best option when dealing with a pit of serpents like the NFL braintrust.
