No Surprise, Ohio State Stays Atop AP, Coaches Poll

WHO IS IT? Who is this lone rebel voting against Ohio State in the Amway Coaches Poll? Who dares question to pure rock fury that is Urban Meyer and his mercenary band of death-dealers? You sir, you cowardly little worm, have just invalidated the entire concept of polling. Damn you! Damn you to hell!

The AP Poll, however, remained way cooler in that regard, and voted OSU the consensus number one team for the second consecutive week in a row.

Maybe I'm being just a little facetious, given that the Buckeyes struggled against the Hokies early and still have a nasty habit of giving up really stupid turnovers, but I'm not betting against these guys and I'm not sure why any coach would.

The rest of the Big Ten did not do nearly as well, with only Michigan State holding serve and Wisconsin dropping nearly out of the Top 25 in the Coaches Poll and succeeding at failing in the AP Poll. Good job, good effort!
