Maryland's first trip to the Horseshoe is set to take place at high noon.

Ohio State's second ever matchup with the Terrapins is set for a 12 p.m. kickoff Oct. 10 as part of Homecoming weekend, the school announced Thursday.

The two teams met for the first time in their respective programs histories last season, when J.T. Barrett accounted for five touchdowns to lead the Buckeyes to a 52-24 victory in College Park, Md., Oct. 4.

Last season, Ohio State blew out Rutgers, 56-17, on homecoming weekend, a game that started at 3:30 p.m. The last time the Buckeyes dropped a homecoming game was in 2008, when they lost to No. 3 Penn State 13-6.

Per an Ohio State release, the television network carrier is scheduled to be determined at either the 12- or six-day designation during the season.

That now makes four game times set for the Buckeyes on their 2015 schedule, with the three others being night games against Big Ten opponents Penn State, Rutgers and Minnesota in consecutive weeks.

The season opener at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va., is also expected to be a night game on ESPN, but kickoff time has not been released by the network.
