Chris Henry Jr. continues to string together dominant performances.
On Friday night, the five-star Ohio State wide receiver commit led his Mater Dei squad to a 27-24 victory over another elite program in Las Vegas' Bishop Gorman, making the game-winning touchdown catch in another showcase of his skills.
Henry made his first big play in the waning seconds of the second quarter, streaking downfield on a go ball and Mossing two defenders for a 44-yard gain. It set the Monarchs up with 1st-and-goal at the 1-yard line, but a false start pushed them back five yards and they had to settle for a game-tying field goal.

The two teams exchanged touchdowns to open the second half before Bishop Gorman kicked a go-ahead field goal with 11:56 to play in the fourth quarter. Henry had the answer, again defeating double coverage for an incredible 37-yard scoring grab that gave Mater Dei the lead, 27-24, with 6:06 remaining.

A missed 43-yard field goal and a later fourth-down stand by the Monarchs' defense sealed the victory over Bishop Gorman, who was ranked No. 2 in the country entering Friday’s game. Henry finished the game with six catches for 116 yards.
Henry and fellow Ohio State receiver commit Kayden Dixon-Wyatt continue to be the most explosive receiving tandem in high school football. They entered Friday with a combined 24 receptions for 467 yards and four touchdowns in just three games, and those stats only went up against Bishop Gorman.
Both are set to sign the dotted line for Ohio State during the Early Signing Period, which starts on Dec. 3.
