Jeremiah Smith has turned heads in the City of Angels this week.

The No. 2 overall prospect in the class of 2024 has been putting his skills on display at the Elite 11 and OT7 Championship this week, both of which are taking place near Los Angeles – the former at Redondo Union High School and the latter at Golden West College. Smith and many of the nation’s other top pass-catchers caught passes from the 2024 class’ top quarterbacks from Wednesday-Friday, while Smith is competing with South Florida Express in the 7-on-7 tournament, which began Thursday and continues through the weekend.

His performance during the second day of the OT7 Championship on Friday earned him MVP honors for the day from On3.

In the process, Smith has shown why he’s regarded as America's best high school wide receiver. He’s not the only Ohio State receiver of note who has been making highlight-reel plays in Los Angeles this week either, as fellow 2024 Ohio State commit Mylan Graham and top 2026 wide receiver target Chris Henry Jr. have also been among the pass-catchers showing their five-star talent in Southern California.

“Jeremiah Smith is not normal”

Ohio State fans may recognize the quarterback in the clip featured above – former Ohio State commit Dylan Raiola, who decommited from the program on Dec. 17 and later pledged to play for Kirby Smart and Georgia. With plays like this, It's fair to wonder what could have been between the 2024 class’ top two overall prospects in Columbus.

Mylan Graham shows off his skills

Mylan Graham has also been catching passes at the Elite 11 and playing alongside Smith with SFE in the 7-on-7 tournament. Graham has been decked out in Buckeyes attire, including Ohio State gloves and cleats.

Chris Henry Jr. generating buzz

While not committed to the Buckeyes, Chris Henry Jr. is already a major target for Ohio State in the 2026 class. The 6-foot-5, 185-pound prospect has made some noise in Los Angeles this week, with NBC Sports' Eric Froton calling Henry “an undeniable star in the making” after watching him perform.
