The Hurry Up is your nightly dose of updates from the Ohio State football recruiting trail, keeping tabs on the latest from commits and targets from around the country.

EARLY RETURNS APPEAR POSITIVE

Damascus, Maryland, defensive end Bryan Bresee was among the many talented underclassmen at Ohio State's one-day camp on Friday. It marked his second unofficial to campus this spring.

“I had a great time,” Bresee told Eleven Warriors. “Just meeting all the coaches and actually getting to work with coach [Larry] Johnson was great.”

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Bresee is not yet ranked, but given the amount of attention Johnson gave him, he's undoubtedly one of Ohio State's top targets for the Class of 2020.

“I thought I knew a lot more than I really do,” Bresee said. “After working with someone like coach Johnson, learning just all the little techniques he knows was great.”

Bresee, who also holds 15 offers from programs such as Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Tennessee, also spent a significant amount of time with head coach Urban Meyer.

“We talked after the camp for a while,” Bresee said. “He is just very honest about everything going on and I really appreciated it.”

Several 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions were placed in favor of Ohio State following the visit, including one from myself, and the Buckeyes are definitely high on his list. However, Bresee said he's in no hurry to make a decision on his future.

“Just looking at all my options," he said. "[It'll come down to] the relationship I have with the coaching staff."

TROJAN HORSE

Ohio State graduate assistant Corey Dennis was in Los Angeles on Sunday for USC's Rising Stars camp, at which time he offered a scholarship to Gardena Junipero Serra four-star athlete Bryan Addison.

“I was very happy to receive a big offer like that,” Addison told Eleven Warriors.

The 6-foot-3, 172-pound Addison is considered the ninth-best athlete and No. 221 prospect overall in the Class of 2018, as he recorded 53 tackles, seven pass breakups, three interceptions and one forced fumble as a safety for the Cavaliers last season. He holds more than a dozen offers from programs such as Arizona, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, UCLA and USC.

Addison is good friends with Ohio State four-star safety commit Jaiden Woodbey, so he could certainly tag along next time the latter comes to Columbus. The Buckeyes already hold commitments from two players at the position, though, and the Trojans are the perceived favorite in his recruitment.

ANOTHER ONE

Dennis also extended a scholarship offer on Sunday afternoon to Corona Centennial wide receiver Jaden Navarrette.

"I was really excited," Navarrette told Eleven Warriors. "It felt really good.

The 6-foot-3, 204-pound Navarrette is not yet ranked by any major recruiting sites but is already considered one of the top players in the Class of 2020. He holds early offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Michigan, Oregon, UCLA and USC.

The Trojans actually offered him a scholarship before he even entered high school, which speaks to his overall athleticism. He was a two-way standout at the Pop Warner level, and some feel he could develop into a terrorizing stand-up defensive end if he continues to grow.

"I never thought I would have all these offers at this age, and I kept doing what I had to do to keep getting them and I kept getting better," Navarrette said.

BUSY DAY AHEAD

Ohio State will host its second one-day camp on Tuesday, and the list of expected attendees continues to grow by the minute. As of Monday night at 7 p.m., the list includes the following notable prospects:

*Haven't been offered yet

Three offers were handed out at Friday's camp, so there's a chance someone like Harris could walk away with one on Tuesday. What about another commitment?

Pope, the sixth-best inside linebacker in the country, told me last week he was hoping to announce his commitment once he received good news on his test scores. Well, they're back, and Tuesday marks his second unofficial visit to Columbus in three months.

Florida has long been considered the favorite in Pope's recruitment, but linebackers coach Bill Davis and the Buckeyes' Real Life Wednesdays program have made quite the impression on him.

“That's what I want. Life after football,” he told Eleven Warriors, noting he wants to major in business. “I want to open my own business. [A] body shop. Working on damaged cars and painting them.”

He and recent four-star linebacker commit Teradja Mitchell know each other quite well, as the two live about an hour and a half apart. And if he does make the eight-hour trip from just south of Richmond, I fully expect him to leave campus as the 14th member of Ohio State's 2018 recruiting class.

Stover, meanwhile, will be on campus for the first time since he was offered a scholarship during an unofficial visit for spring practice in March. Many, including myself, thought he may commit in the days following, but that never happened. Tuesday offers another chance to meet with the staff, and it wouldn't be out of the question for him to pull the trigger.
