For so long, the parasitical Michigan football program has leeched away some of Ohio's top prep talent. Jim Tressel didn't let many slip, and Jim Harbaugh has yet to land an Ohioan Urban Meyer wanted.

Tonight is another chapter in that battle. The Ohio State Recruiting Death Machine is expected to harvest another couple of gems at its Friday Night Lights.

Mike Weber, a freshman RB who survived National Signing Day turbulence to land in Columbus via Detroit, tweeted his own expectations today.

Granted, it's 2015 and cellphones make it easy to talk anyone in the world, but there will be some notable Michiganders in the Horseshoe tonight. Among them: 2016 Four-star WR Donnie Corley (the biggest target) and 2017's Allen Stritzinger (3-star ATH), Ambry Thomas (four-star CB), and Jaylen Kelly-Powell (four-star CB).

Thomas and Kelly-Powell both hail from Detroit as well, with Powell currently at Weber's alma mater, Cass Tech.

Another fun possibility: He's talking about a prospect that's not camping at Ohio State tonight.

Should be a fun night of surprises ahead for Ohio State fans regardless.

Friday Night Lights begins at 6:30 at the Horseshoe, and is open to the public. The Lord of Whispers has a primer over here.
