Ohio State will debut a new uniform against Virginia on Saturday night.
Ohio State will deploy what the school describes as "gray scripts" jerseys the team announced ahead of the its meeting with Virginia in prime time tonight on Valentine's Day at the Nashville Hoops Showdown.

As this is a neutral site game at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, a neutral color scheme reflecting the in-between nature of the matchup seems appropriate for a school that otherwise opts to wear scarlet away from Columbus. The team also reportedly plans to wear the new jerseys when hosting Wisconsin next Tuesday.

New uniforms for the #Buckeyes. Ohio State is expected to wear those tonight and next week against Wisconsin, from my understanding. https://t.co/FUqmq7f8Jh

The alternate uniforms Ohio State has worn this season have largely received extremely positive praise, including an early 90s throwback the Buckeyes wore in a win over UCLA last month. Prior to that, the scarlet edition of the scripts uniform received calls from fans once again to become the school's full-time road jersey.
Ohio State tips off with Virginia at 8 p.m. ET tonight on FOX in a pivotal prime time showdown for the potential postseason fate of the Buckeyes. OSU could lose all of its remaining games against ranked opponents but still win-out otherwise and finish with 20 wins. However, earning what would easily be the team's best victory of the season tonight would widen Ohio State's window of outcomes considerably.
