Ohio State’s Big Ten matchup with Penn State will be played as scheduled despite 12 inches of snowfall in Columbus from Winter Storm Fern.
In a press release, the program said roads around the Schottenstein Center have been plowed and treated, though fans are encouraged to use caution when traveling to the game and to allow extra time. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. inside the Schottenstein Center.

Parking lots surrounding the Schottenstein Center will be free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Buckeye Lot will be closed and university shuttles will not operate before, during or after the game. Ohio State also noted that concessions, traffic direction and parking in and around the arena will be limited.
The decision to play comes as the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets postponed their regular-season game against the Los Angeles Kings from Monday to March 9 due to weather conditions.
The game will be televised on FS1.
