The Ohio State men's basketball program's summer trip to the Bahamas won't solely involve soaking up the sun.

The Buckeyes will also take part in two exhibition games against the Puerto Rican and Egyptian national teams when Ohio State travels to the Bahamas from Aug. 4-9, a team spokesperson told Eleven Warriors Tuesday.

Games will take place at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas, but no video or streaming options of the game will be available for fans to watch.

The live game environment may provide valuable experience for the new-look Ohio State roster, which eight new scholarship additions in 2022-23 in the form of transfers and true freshmen. The Buckeyes began summer work back in June, but will be able to test their chemistry against international competition next month.

Ohio State's first home exhibition of the new season tips off on Nov. 1 against Chaminade before regulation contests get underway six days later, beginning with a matchup versus Robert Morris at the Schottenstein Center on Nov. 7.
