Ohio State Moves Up To No. 16 In AP Poll

Ohio State just keeps moving up.

After making their season debut at No. 23 in last week's Associated Press Top-25 poll, the Buckeyes moved up to No. 16 in the latest rankings released Monday afternoon. They picked up 511 votes after earning 222 votes last week.

Six fellow Big Ten teams – No. 7 Michigan, No. 9 Michigan State, No. 14 Iowa, No. 19 Purdue, No. 22 Wisconsin and No. 24 Maryland – joined Ohio State in the top 25. 

The Buckeyes will take on Syracuse on Wednesday at the Schottenstein Center. They picked up eight votes.
