Ohio State's men's basketball team learned quite some time ago it would open up its 2018-19 regular season against the Cincinnati Bearcats on Nov. 7 in the Queen City.

That news came alongside the entire non-conference schedule release, including dates at Creighton on Nov. 15, vs. Syracuse on Nov. 28 and vs. UCLA in Chicago on Dec. 23.

Tuesday, the Buckeyes learned what the rest of their schedule would look like as the Big Ten released its 2018-19 conference schedule live on air via the Big Ten Network.

On Dec. 2, the Buckeyes open their Big Ten slate with Minnesota in Columbus before traveling to the United Center in Chicago for a date with Illinois on Dec. 5.

As part of the Big Ten's new 20-game schedule, the Buckeyes knew they would play two conference games between Nov. 30 and Dec. 5 before beginning the rest of their conference schedule in January.

The Buckeyes' first Big Ten action in 2019 will take place on Jan. 5 as they host Michigan State before traveling to Rutgers (Jan. 9) and Iowa (Jan. 12).

Other notable dates include a matchup with Purdue on Jan. 23 in Columbus as well as road trips to Michigan (Jan. 29), Indiana (Feb. 10), Michigan State (Feb. 17) and Purdue (March 2).

Penn State, who beat the Buckeyes three times last year, travels to Columbus on Feb. 7.

Ohio State closes out its Big Ten schedule by hosting Wisconsin on March 10.

The Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament is scheduled to run from March 13-17 in Chicago.

On the women's side, the Big Ten announced an 18-game conference schedule for the first time since the 2015-16 season. Each team will play five opponents twice and eight opponents once while the Big Ten Tournament is scheduled for March 6-10 in Indianapolis.

Ohio State begins conference play at Purdue on Dec. 28.
