BOISE, Idaho – Keita Bates-Diop has not yet decided on his potential NBA future.

After dropping 28 points in a 90-84 loss to Gonzaga on Saturday night, Bates-Diop said he will take time to discuss his basketball future with family and friends before making a decision.

"I just wanted to focus on the season and not worry about it until afterwards," Bates-Diop said. "I will think about it, talk with my family and coaches about it in the next few days."

Chris Holtmann acknowledged he will have a discussion with his star player and his family soon, but wouldn't put a specific timeline on when the conversations, or decision, might take place.

"He has an incredible support group with his mom and dad," Holtmann said. "They have been pretty in tune with all of this around him right now. We will give it some time to get away from things. I will have some conversations with his family, but we will give it some time, a week or so, then sit down as a group and figure out where to progress."

Bates-Diop is projected as the No. 25 overall pick in the first round of the upcoming draft by CBS Sports analyst Gary Parrish, and would be Ohio State's first selection in the draft since D'Angelo Russell, who went No. 2 overall in 2015.
