Ohio State was eliminated from the Big Ten Tournament with a 69-68 loss to Penn State at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.

The Buckeyes hoped to avenge a pair of regular-season losses, and found themselves on the cusp of doing so thanks to 25 points from Keita Bates-Diop — 11 of which came over the game's final seven minutes. Tony Carr also finished with 25 points, but his assist with just seconds remaining that gave the Nittany Lions the win, however.

Jae'Sean Tate and Kam Williams pitched in 10 points apiece for Ohio State, which fell to 24-8 on the season. The Buckeyes must wait more than a week to find out their NCAA Tournament fate, with most projections listing them as a five seed.
