Ohio State's brief stint in the top-10 is over.

Following losses to Penn State and Michigan, the Buckeyes dropped eight spots to No. 16 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll on Monday, after soaring to as high as No. 8 last week following an upset victory over Purdue.

The Buckeyes are joined in the top-25 by fellow Big Ten foes Michigan State, Michigan and Purdue. The Spartans retained their No. 2 ranking following a 30-point victory over Minnesota on Feb. 13 and a 27-point comeback victory over Northwestern on Saturday. Following losses to Michigan State and Wisconsin, Purdue was able to right the ship on Sunday with a 76-73 win over Penn State, and checked in at No. 9 in the rankings.

With a 74-62 win over the Buckeyes on Sunday, the Wolverines jumped five spots in the poll, coming in at No. 17 heading into the final week of the regular season.

Ohio State is set to return to action Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Rutgers for Senior Night in Columbus. The game is set to be televised on BTN.
