Ohio State's men's basketball team is in a street fight for a NCAA play-in game at this point, but hope isn't exhausted yet. The 17-10 Basketbucks are in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Saturday for a must-win game against the 14-13 Huskers. 

Sophomore forward Jae'Sean Tate and freshman guard JaQuan Lyle took to Instagram on Thursday night to offer fans a sneak peek at the new-look jerseys the Buckeyes will apparently don this weekend:

For comparison's sake, here's Tate in the Buckeyes' typical Scarlet uniform on Jan. 21 at Purdue:

Tate "traditional" look

As you can see, the newer jersey appears to be a brighter hue of scarlet, as well as a closer crop along the shoulders. It's also missing a white stripe. (Kentucky, also a Nike school, wore a similar aesthetic against South Carolina.)

Nebraska hosts Ohio State 7 p.m. Saturday on BTN.
