Everyone’s favorite Buckeye is coming back to Columbus with some hardware.
Brutus Buckeye emerged as the D1A Mascot National Champion at the UCA & UDA National Championship at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Brutus’ performance garnered him a 95.2 event score, pushing him ahead of Minnesota’s Goldy Gopher (95.06) and Tennessee’s Smokey (94.86), for the national championship.
Ohio State’s spirit squad also earned national championship honors on Friday evening, claiming its third straight national championship in the D1A Spirit Program Game Day class.
