This Week in Twitter is a look at some of the week's best and most entertaining tweets from Buckeyeland and beyond.

With the 2022 college football season now complete, numerous Buckeyes took to Twitter to share their highlights from the season that was. Paris Johnson Jr. went old-school, setting his highlight video to the 2Pac classic “Hit ‘Em Up” – with some choice words edited out.

Johnson and McCalister were among numerous Buckeyes who took to Twitter to say goodbye after officially declaring for the 2023 NFL draft, as did Dawand Jones and Luke Wypler.

TreVeyon Henderson and Mike Hall were sad to see their former teammates go.

Several other Buckeyes announced they are coming back for the 2023 season. Cade Stover didn’t beat around the bush with his announcement, and Ohio State celebrated the fact that Stover, Miyan Williams, Matt Jones, Xavier Johnson and Tommy Eichenberg will all be returning for another year.

Eichenberg announced his return on his birthday, and former Ohio State linebacker Teradja Mitchell made sure he received plenty of birthday wishes despite having a locked Twitter account.

Henderson will be back at Ohio State for his third season as a Buckeye in 2023, and he expressed his motivation to bounce back after an injury-plagued sophomore season.

Kevin Wilson said goodbye to Ohio State after leaving to become the head coach at Tulsa, and Mitch Rossi endorsed his message to the tight end room.

Speaking of Rossi, who exhausted his Ohio State eligibility this past season, new tight ends coach Keenan Bailey ran into him at the airport as he prepared to take off on a recruiting trip.

Current and former Ohio State wide receivers alike were excited about Brian Hartline’s promotion to offensive coordinator.

Hartline also got a shoutout from famous singer and Ohio State fan John Legend:

Kamryn Babb shared his support for a fellow college athlete who was inspired by his recovery from knee injuries.

Avery Henry started chemotherapy after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma (a form of bone cancer), and many Buckeyes and Buckeye fans – including IndyCar driver Graham Rahal – took to Twitter to send him support.

The Buckeyes also sent their prayers to Ohio State superfan Jacob Jarvis after he was hospitalized with pneumonia.

Monday night was a hard night for many members of the Ohio State football program as they watched Georgia cruise to a 65-7 victory over TCU in the national championship, leaving the Buckeyes to wonder what could have been after just barely losing to Georgia in the Peach Bowl.

Ben Hartsock had to pay off some bets after Georgia’s win.

Darron Lee had a nightmare about Mickey Marotti’s winter workouts, which brought back bad memories for several other former Ohio State football players, too.

FedEx wouldn’t help Taylor Decker with a lost shipment – until he shared his displeasure on Twitter.

Jeremy Ruckert’s dad was ecstatic to see his son make his first NFL catch.

Parris Campbell was grateful he finally made it through a full NFL season without injury.

Cam Heyward drew motivation from being snubbed from the NFL’s All-Pro team.

Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons endorsed Garrett Wilson’s Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign.

Jermaine Mathews took in some Ohio State basketball in his first week on campus as an early enrollee.

Jimmy Sotos enjoyed FS1’s All-Access broadcast of Ohio State vs. Minnesota, but Joey Lane acknowledged the more mixed reviews from fans.

Brian Hartline wasn’t happy with the decisive foul call against Bruce Thornton, which the Big Ten acknowledged should not have been called after Ohio State’s loss to Minnesota.

Ohio State congratulated former Buckeye hooper Otis Winston for his continued success as an actor as his newest movie, “Plane,” premiered nationwide this weekend.
