This Week in Twitter is a look at some of the week's best and most entertaining tweets from Buckeyeland and beyond.

College football season is less than 50 days out at this point, which means practice continues to heat up for The Ohio State Buckeyes in the heart of summer.

Big hair was a big theme throughout the week, but perhaps no offseason development was as significant as the emergence of Noah Ruggles' mullet. Dan Hope made sure to scout the scalp of the Scarlet & Gray's place kicker accordingly.

That new lettuce probably looks great flowing in the breeze. However, with Ruggles lining up for field goals rather than wind sprints, fans may have to settle for veterans such as Kamryn Babb when it comes to appreciating fresh cuts in motion.

In addition to a week full of great hair days, several key players in the Ohio State offense got good news this week after being named to preseason award watchlists. Chief among them was C.J. Stroud as one of the early favorites to win the Davey O'Brien award for the nation's best quarterback.

TreVeyon Henderson also received recognition as a Doak Walker Award candidate, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba figures to be one of the leading names from season's start to finish in the running for the Fred Biletnikoff Award.

But the most controversial story surrounding Ohio State Athletics this week was perhaps that not even members of the football team are immune from the watchful eye of CampusParc. Defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. learned so the hard way.

While not nearly as infamous in Columbus car lots as the shameless vultures at Shamrock Towing, it appears Ohio State's official parking partner lives in the heads of even the most distinguished Buckeye student-athletes.

Henderson can at least pay off any tickets with his newfound talent for flipping houses.

As for professional Buckeye football players, Garrett Wilson turned 22 years old on Friday.

It's unclear if Wilson's golf outing earlier in the week had something to do with his birthday celebration, but some swing lessons might be a great idea as a gift before a new set of irons.

Meanwhile, on the basketball side, Chris Holtmann welcomed several Ohio State hoops legends back to Columbus for Vet Week — including Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley Jr.

Jae'Sean Tate was also among the current NBA players to enjoy the unofficial homecoming, showing off parts of his game that earned him a three year/$22 million deal earlier this month.

But if fans thought that dunk was impressive, just look at what Marvin Harrison Jr. can do on a basketball court.

While the son of a Pro Football Hall of Hamer would predictably have some natural athleticism, the list of incoming sophomores around the country that can throw themselves windmill alley-oop dunks probably isn't very long.

This season, Big Ten cornerbacks will want nothing to do with staying in front of Harrison Jr. — Cardale Jones seems to agree.

Elsewhere, Buckeye baseball celebrated the MLB draft this week as TJ Brock, Zach Dezenzo, Nate Karaffa, and Ethan Hammerberg all saw themselves selected by various professional clubs.

Ohio State's SASSO also recognized Zed Key, Kitty Jones-Black, and Nolan Williams this week as the university's Student-Athletes of the Month for July.
