You may find that work, school, or other obligations keep you from focusing on Twitter the way you should. Thankfully for you, I'm able to tune out those distractions and provide you with a weekly rundown of the best tweets from around campus.

It's official — Buckeye football is back.

I'm going to be honest with you, I was afraid Twitter would slow down once the season started much like it did during camp. I thought the players would stay off the twitterverse in the name of "staying focused."

Thankfully, I was wrong. I was very, very wrong. This was one of the best weeks of Twitter since I began doing this rundown. This is going to be a marvelous season. Enjoy.

This is your weekly reminder: THERE ARE OTHER PLACES TO EAT ON CAMPUS.

I feel you Billy. After the game, I immediately drove back to Columbus from Blacksburg, got home at about 6:30 A.M. and started studying for an exam I had at 9:10 A.M. I got a 54.5/60.  #TheGrind

You can fly first class. You can afford it. I promise.

Let me say, "the fat German" has nothing on Penn State's kicker.

Fun fact: I've never played a hole of golf in my life.

And for good reason...

This dog is adorable. And I'm a cat person.

Taylor Decker didn't get a shout-out, and he took offense.

But Cardale was quick to make amends.

Cold Stone is the most overpriced ice cream there is. I worked there for 2 years as an assistant manager. There is no way it should cost as much as it does. But when it's free, it's the best there is.

This tweet was posted well before almost anyone else found out who the starter would be, and it turned out to be correct. The situation got a little more curious when this tweet was posted yesterday:

Does @TheFakeLantern know something we don't? Makes you think, for sure.

The best tweets of the week came during or after Ohio State's 42-24 win in Blacksburg, so we'll hop right in to those.

Michael Bennett got to watch his first Ohio State game as an alumni. Now, he's just a fan on Twitter. And he'll fit right in with #takes like this:

(Context: this tweet was sent at halftime)

Annnnnnd now we'll get to the post game reactions....

I like to think the first thing Dolodale did upon getting to the locker room is send this tweet. Probably still even had his pads on.

The only person who can drop Cardale Jones is Ronda Rousey. The dude is a mountain.

Somehow, I missed this. Tyvis Powell is a national treasure.

If you somehow missed it, Michael Thomas did this to arguably the best corner he'll face all season:

Here are some responses:

I will be using this same move in my intramural football games later this season. I fully expect the same result. I'll let you know how it goes.

#FreeBosa

 And now, he's free...

Lord have mercy on Max Wittek.

Braxton Miller

There's absolutely no way you haven't seen this yet, but you'll want to watch this at least seventeen more times.

"Forgive me, for I have spinned."

this week's winner of twitter

This week, the win goes to the team's Twitter performance post-game in general. I couldn't pick just one. They all deserve the win. Great team effort.

Follow Friday:

  • Stephen Collier @S13Collier I know I've suggested him before, but I'm doing it again because his Twitter game is that good. He's consistently one of the best follows on the team. He delivers day-to-day while other guys are really only good for a fire tweet once every couple of weeks.
  • Johnny Ginter @Johnny11W Johnny is very good at twitter dot com. He's also on staff here at eleven warriors dot com and excels at writing words about sports. He also teaches high school. You should follow him on Twitter because although you'll probably regret it later, you also might not.
