So I came onto the 11W site on desktop and I see an "Anthony Gonzalez for Congress" advertisement underneath the top 3 stories and above the rest of the stories. Now I will not comment on whether or not I support Gonzalez's politics because that would violate the commenting rules of 11W. However, I did find it curious to see a political advertisement on the 11W site when 11W makes it clear that their policy is to leave that sort of subject matter at the door so to speak.  So my question is this - so long as 11W is somehow allowing political advertisements on their site are they going to relax the commenting policy if/when/should there be any topics in sports that come near politics?

PS This has nothing to do about my fondness for Gonzo. I have fond memories of watching him play for the Buckeyes. This is just an observation about what I saw on the 11W site
