This according to a tweet by NFLResearch (their stats official stats account). With two games left, he'll need a little over 141 yards rushing per game to beat it. Quite possible, not probable.

With that being said, Dickerson played for the 1983 Rams in his rookie season. That team made the playoffs, won the wildcard and lost the division. So that gives them 2 post season games. My question to our local statnerds is the following:

Is Dickerson's rookie record inclusive of post-season play? Or is it limited to the regular season 16? If we're including two post season games in Dickerson's record, then Zeke would only need ~70 yards per game to best Dickerson's record. Barring injury, we can now postulate that Ezekiel Elliott breaking the all-time rookie rushing record verges into the realm of probability (assuming Dallas plays makes the post-season and plays two games, which honestly I see them making/winning the Super Bowl).

Whatcha got?
