Carnell Tate selected No. 4 overall to the Tennessee Titans, Arvell Reese goes No. 5 to the New York Giants, Sonny Styles selected No. 7 by the Washington Commanders, Caleb Downs goes No. 11 to the Dallas Cowboys.
I'll preface this by saying I've never watched Mayweather fight before, but I've seen my fair share of welterweight slugfests (here's my favorite). I don't really have a vested interest in this fight because it's about 5 years past its prime, but I'm really at a loss here. I just watched what I thought was Pacquiao basically dominating the fight, which isn't saying much because he was the only one really throwing a punch for 12 rounds while Mayweather looked scared and evasive.
My question: is this how Mayweather normally wins fights - running from his opponent and taking hits without dropping? That didn't look like counter-punching, that looked pathetic. I understand you have to dethrone the champ but it looked like Manny did more than enough to win a split decision.
Or maybe I'm biased. I hope it's both.
