I think this deserves its own thread:
Legend Bey is a very talented kid who wants to play at Ohio State and has been building a relationship with Ohio State for the past three years. Yesterday he was all but signed to Ohio State but his mom wouldn’t sign his LOI, something he needed her to do in order to sign since he’s 17.

It made me sad when I read that Legend Bey wanted his teachers and classmates to take photos with him at his table that was adorn in Ohio State gear and pictures of him on his visit. He told Mike Roach he feels like OSU is the best place for him but he wants peace with his mom.

He ended up signing with Tennessee yesterday which seemed to be the end of things when he suddenly tweeted and deleted this picture:

A graphic that I believe came from Ohio State showing that Ryan Day and Carlos Locklyn has his back. He also tweeted and deleted this message:
4 star ATH Legend Bey out of Texas just posted this on Twitter before quickly deleted.
Was committed to Tennessee decommited last month and then signed with the Vols yesterday.
If Im Tennessee I cut ties. Nothing against the kid but dont want him to be somewhere he doesnt. pic.twitter.com/vgvZIhgYE9

Legend Bey turns 18 in two weeks and then he can enter the portal on January 2nd when it opens, but hopefully if it comes to that his mom and brother allow him to do so and go to the school of his wishes. If Tennessee had any integrity, they would release the kid from his LOI before the portal even opens. Birm says Ohio State would absolutely take him if he enters the portal. This is a very sad situation for the kid.
