Well, it looks like the Jestin Jacobs saga is taking another turn and from where I'm sitting, it looks like that's a (potentially) very good turn.
Ohio State extended an offer to Clayton Northmont’s Jestin Jacobs, a 4-star prospect who has been committed to Iowa since May. It was mentioned that an important thing to watch for is a planned visit with the Buckeyes.
“Jacobs will need to set up a visit to the school, a move that will no doubt be met with significant resistance since Iowa has a pretty firm no-visit policy for its commitments. So if a trip is scheduled, it’s a good sign for the Buckeyes.”
Well, on Wednesday, it was reported by Steve Wiltfong of 247Sportsthat Jacobs in fact has scheduled a visit to Ohio State.

Here's a link to his 247 page for those inquiring minds. It's a 50/50 toss up at the moment between crystal ball predictions for Sparty and Brutus.
Now we move into the wait and see mode of this one. Will it be an official visit or will Jestin dip his toes into Mirror Lake with an unofficial and perhaps save the OV if things go well on the first trip.
News of the visit is definitely welcome news to this Buckeye fan.
Where it goes remains to be seen but it sounds like a damn good place to start.
