So I’ve been following Erick Young, CB out of Texas. All crystal balls were for Texas A&M but he had a top three of tOSU, Oklahoma, and USC. Since I hadn’t heard about him I figured he wasn’t committing to tOSU. But, figured I’d follow on Twitter anyway. 

Originally he was going to commit at 1pm CST today. Then it got moved to 3pm. Then he tweeted that he wasn’t going to commit today because of the weather. Finally, he committed to Texas A&M. Everyone was talking about how it was the greatest troll. 

Is this where we are now in recruiting?  That’s supposed to be funny?  I don’t care where he goes.  It’s the ridiculousness of it all.  My son starts high school this year.  If he’s fortunate enough to get offered scholarships, I’d never let him do something so ridiculous.  It’s not even funny.  I guess I just need to stop paying attention.
