KNOW THE MAN WHO LEADS MICHIGAN STATE
Mark Dantonio was hired by Michigan State on April, 21 2007. He has led the Spartans to a record of 83-32 (.722). Prior to taking the head job at Michigan State Dantonio was the head coach at Cincinnati from 2004-2006. Dantonio's last position as an assistant coach was at Ohio State as Jim Tressel's defensive coordinator from 2001-2003.
The Spartans are 9-1 this season. The lone loss was to Nebraska two weeks ago. Many circled Michigan State as Ohio State's toughest regular season game at the beginning of the season. With the improvement of That Team some fans have overlooked the Spartans. Don't fall in that trap. Michigan State will be the most talented team Ohio State plays in the regular season. Mark Dantonio will have his team prepared to leave Ohio Stadium with a victory. Will the Buckeyes be ready to defend their turf?
