Conley is in his second stint with the Defenders, previously playing for them in 2024. After a brief stint with the Dallas Cowboys that summer, Conley retired from football. The former Ohio State cornerback came out of retirement to return to the UFL this season, and the 2017 first-round NFL draft pick has excelled so far in his return to the field. He allowed just three catches for 14 yards on seven targets in the Defenders’ first two games, per Pro Football Focus, before Saturday’s pick-six in his third game back in the UFL.
