Finally saw the slant & go today on the big TD throw from Julian Sayin to Carnell Tate. Been wondering what happened to this concept in our offense the past couple of years? Chris Olave made a killing off this route with Justin Fields in 2019… then it mysteriously disappeared. Nice to see Day & Co work this back in. Tate did a great job faking the inside route then getting straight vertical. Sayin did his part by putting some air under it & giving his receiver a chance to make a play on the ball. Love to see it!
