Nick Mangold is seeking a donor for a kidney transplant.
The former Ohio State and New York Jets center announced Tuesday that he needs a kidney transplant due to chronic kidney disease caused by a genetic defect. He is seeking a donor with Type O blood. Anyone willing to find out if they would be a match to donate a kidney to Mangold can visit Columbia Surgery’s website and fill out a match form using the instructions listed in the following tweet by Mangold.
