I'll vent/ask this here ––

Anyone rethinking voting for Gus and Klatt as the best nat'l team in the 11W poll last week? Or, have thoughts on their current tack compared to a few years ago?

Rewatched Buckeyes last night, and those two literally have no idea wtf they're talking about half the time.

Doug on postgame pod with Bill argued that all the pods, appearances, and social media Klatt does have sapped him of being useful on Saturdays.

I agree. It's not five years ago when Klatt was insightful and accurate in the moment and Gus' schtick was fun and made sense with respect to the actual football happening onscreen.

And, Mike Pereira – lord almighty. Droning on for two minutes as he ignored what the word "establish" means only to come back after they reverse the objectively wrong-from-the-start call to frame it as how the refs are interpreting what "establish" means to try and avoid responsibility for not knowing wtf he's talking about.

I'll put in a plug for Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge of NBC. Imo, best nat'l guys so far this year. No frills broadcast and announcing that focuses on ball, and seems like they actually study film and stats.

For me, the best remains syncing Keels and Lachey with the TV on mute (like I do for Tom Hamilton and the Tribe/Guardians when I get time to sit and watch).
