ESPN’s AP poll summary for 10/11/2025 says:

”The win over Illinois was OSU's 14th straight win as the AP No. 1, the longest streak in program history.”

Which sounded insane. It reads like I missed 8 games between the end of last season and before the start of this one. 

Those extra 8 games are from all the way back in the 2015 season when we were number 1 until 11/08/2015 and fell to #2 behind none other than Clemson — well prior to the Michigan State loss 11/21/2015.
