Had a couple of friends over the other night to hang out and watch football.  One is a Buckeye fan, the other is not.  Always good to get outside perspectives from sports fans of other teams.  Helps to remind me how spoiled we all are as Buckeye fans.  Helps to hear others unbiased opinions of what they see when they watch the Buckeyes play.

The over-arching theme of his comments was that it must be a challenge to keep players like Jeremiah Smith engaged.  More than once he commented on how boring the game seemed for someone like Smith, who is clearly a man amongst boys.  

I will admit that I have a tendency to be overly harsh on the Buckeyes when I am watching a game live.  It was good to hear someone who doesn't have a lifetime of Buckeye-viewing-history make comments during the game.  Also good to have others around to keep me from being as overly loud or harsh.  My dogs were thankful ;-)
