Our defense is flat out nasty. After this weeks games, we'll be alone at #1 in scoring defense at 5.5 points per game. 

I know it's still early in the season, but that number is incredible to me--especially considering that it includes giving up 7 points to Texas (who averages 40 in games where they aren't playing Ohio State) and 6 to Washington on the road (who averages 55.7 in games where they aren't playing Ohio State). 

And guess who's #2 in scoring D? Texas, at 7.75 points per game. 

At this point, anyone who isn't casting their vote for us as #1 in the polls clearly hasn't been paying attention.
