Max Klare is a heralded tight end transfer from Purdue. Preseason hype for some conference and national honors. Mentioned in early round NFL draft discussions. Yet through two games he has only two receptions for eighteen yards with no touchdowns on four targets. That and I do not believe he is in the top two for snap counts for his position.
What gives?
Is he still learning the play book and mastering how to block per Ohio State standards? Is he simply not needed at this stage of the season given the wealth and depth of Buckeye receiving rooms? Does he have a nagging injury? Have I missed an article regarding Mr. Klare?
Can someone with actual football knowledge give the rest of us knucklehead fans a clue?
