I will first start off by saying I have loved Brian as a player and position coach, and he is the consummate Buckeye.  I am rooting for him big time.  But as the season draws closer, I can't help but be nervous about his ability to play chess against some of the best defensive coordinators in the game.  When I think about our best coordinators such as Dantonio, Day, Herman, Kelly, Knowles, etc - they all strike me as incredibly intelligent, master chess players.  God love him, but I don't get the same feeling about Brian although I will be the first to admit I don't know much about his intelligence.  And the fact that they tried to make him a coordinator a few years ago and Day had to pull away his duties makes me very nervous.

I invite any and all of you to tell me that my feelings are completely unfounded...
