Happy Monday, Eleven Warriors!
Yesterday in The Weekender, I wrote about how Bret Bielema relayed last week that the SEC coaches apparently voted down the prospect of playing an annual challenge series against the Big Ten. That contradicted statements Brian Kelly made last month in which he said the conference's coaches were all interested in the idea.
So for This Week's Question, let's consider: if the B1G/SEC challenge eventually happens, which school do you most want to see play Ohio State?
I can imagine Georgia, Texas and Alabama will all be popular answers; however, I imagine OSU will end up facing those three teams in one or many College Football Playoffs at some point in the near future. Therefore, my answer would have to be Florida. I badly want to see the 2007 BCS National Championship game loss avenged, and I don't see the Gators making it to the CFP soon, so it would be nice to watch the Buckeyes crush them early in a season while their fans remain full of optimism.
My Dubcast co-host Johnny Ginter agrees with me about Florida, although his second choice would be Alabama. Jason Priestas also supports the idea of playing the Gators. Dan Hope advocated for the aforementioned triumvirate of Georgia/Texas/Alabama, but also floated LSU as a wild card due to the potential for Kelly to have a meltdown at the 'Shoe.
But what about you? Which SEC team would you most want Ohio State to face in a potential challenge series with the Big Ten for conference bragging rights?
