He really needs to let comments from dumb fans go.  Maybe he's just an emotional guy, but for somebody to keep lashing out at fans like this suggests that he's letting the pressure get to him.  And unless he finds a way to block out the background noise and focus on his job (much like Day was able to do during the playoffs), then I'm betting against him winning a natty.......I don't care how many dudes he returns.
