Coming out of NFL draft weekend, here's This Week's Question™: Which Buckeyes will be selected in the 2026 NFL draft? Also, if I can be so bold as to ask another, which Buckeyes will be first-round picks in the 2026 NFL draft?
For me, safety Caleb Downs is a lock to be a first-round pick, while wide receiver Carnell Tate, tight end Max Klare, offensive tackle Ethan Onianwa and linebacker Sonny Styles all have first-round potential.
Other names I’ve considered that could hear their names called at the 2026 NFL draft (I’ll admit, there are some fliers on this list, but this is Ohio State, so you never know what can happen)...
- Redshirt sophomores and juniors: Wide receivers Brandon Inniss and Bryson Rodgers, tight end Jelani Thurman, guards Luke Montgomery and Austin Siereveld, defensive tackle Kayden McDonald, defensive end Logan George, linebacker Arvell Reese, cornerback Jermaine Mathews Jr. and safety Malik Hartford
- Redshirt juniors and seniors: Running back CJ Donaldson, tight end Bennett Christian, center Carson Hinzman, guard Tegra Tshabola, defensive ends Kenyatta Jackson Jr. and Caden Curry and C.J. Hicks, cornerback Davison Igbinosun and kicker Jayden Fielding
- Graduates: Tight end Will Kacmarek and cornerback Lorenzo Styles Jr.
