Glenville defensive tackle Jamir Perez flips his commitment from Florida to Ohio State.
Thoughts. Tenn(top 10 rushing team) runs tempo (6-9 seconds per play) some of the fastest tempo in the ncaa, even faster than Oregon. They are top 10 in rushing and we have the number 1 ranked defense. Strength on strength. Will this gas our dlineman if they can`t substitute?
This will be the first time this year we see this exact pace of play. I feel confident that we will huddle(59th ranked rushing attack) and use the clock up unless its a 2 minute drill situation and we are trying to score at the end of the half or end of game.
For whatever reason we have abandoned pace this year...good or bad. I am guessing it would be great if we wanted offensive possessions but thats not what our coaches decided to do. Huddle and play at a much slower pace(scored our only td against ttun on a 2 minute drill and never did it again).
Tenn decided to keep doing the speed thing. Will playing fast be an advantage against us or will it play into our hands? For instance will our slow pace keep the ball away from them long enough to limit their chances at scoring?
Thoughts on this and with weather probably in the 20`s and winds at or over 10mph at the Shoe. Opinions on the weather(cold-semi windy) and pace of play and who it favors? Go Bucks
