if I’m looking for anything to make this “Okay,” it’s probably going to be in terms of this.
Outside of something really unusual happening, Ohio State is playoff bound. At the whims of the committee they will be seeded in the first round. Possibly getting a home game, maybe not. 
Now, Klatt brought this up with Cowherd. There is no re-seeding in the playoffs like the NFL does. You stay where you are in the bracket. 
If they are lucky to get the right seeding, they may end up playing big 12 or ACC conference champion or a Mountain West at large

They also get a bye next week versus playing another tough opponent in Oregon (which would’ve been a nice revenge game). 
But, allowing PSU and Oregon to beat up on each other, gathering ourselves on a bye and seeing what the committee feeds us might be “okay.”
