Writing these words would have felt like sheer madness at the start of the season, but is it possible that Emeka Egbuka decides to come back in 2024?

Injuries have derailed a promising season, and he's clearly not back to 100%, as can be seen from his output in the last two games since his ankle injury. He's sitting at a paltry 332 yards on 26 catches and is currently at most receiving option number 3 behind Harrison Jr. and Cade Stover, with Trey Henderson and Carnell Tate increasingly chipping into his targets.

This is not in any way shape or form a criticism of his talent or drive, as I'm sure nobody is more frustrated by his injury and resultant lack of production than Emeka himself. The guy is a generational talent who got really unlucky with an ugly hit to the leg.

That said, with NFL draftniks already projecting him to slide to a late first rounder/early second round pick, does anyone think there is a universe where EE decides to come back for another season to get healthy, be the feature WR1, and try to get back to the Top 10 pick status he was projected for at the start of the year?
