Tressels, Fickells, Urbans, Days, Johnsons and Days,

Chris Gamble's pick six with a deafening Ohio Stadium crowd erupting in 2002.

Ryan Shazier's pick-six early in the second half of a tied game at Penn State in 2012.

Joey Bosa's walk off sack in double overtime at Penn State in 2014.

JT Tuimoloau's unbelievable game with a historical, dominant defensive performance at Penn State in 2022.

I can still remember where I was for each of those moments.  In Ohio Stadium, jumping up and down so enthusiastically that I ended up in the row in front of me. At a neighborhood Halloween party watching the game with my good friends dressed up as Floyd and Janet  Muppets from the Electric Mayhem.

This series has that to it.  Everything is elevated...and sometimes it comes down to just making a play.

It's hard to predict what the game will look like this Saturday.  It feel like what I expect and what actually happens in these big games rarely meet.  There are too many unknowns.  Who will be healthy enough to play? How does the OSU offensive line hold up?  Does Penn State try to take shots deep?  Does the weather change the approach?  Does Coach Day open up the playbook?  How do the Buckeyes work 3rd and short situations?  Is the game plan working?

You may have noticed I pulled out defensive plays.  Defensive plays made in four years that are memorable chapters in recent Ohio State football history.

I'm still liking the fire, discipline and approach from the Silver Bullets this season. It's been awhile.  Sometimes it comes down to just making a play.

Touchdowns:  Marvin Harrison Jr., Cade Stover, JT Tuimoloau

OSU 21 Penn State 17

Go Bucks!  Beat Penn State!  Harry Miller for Heisman!
