Ohio State added another player via the transfer portal on Friday when former Robert Morris defensive end Cade Casto announced he had accepted an offer to join the Buckeyes as a preferred walk-on.
After careful consideration, I am excited to announce I have accepted a PWO at The Ohio State University to further my academic and athletic career! Cant wait to get to work. GO BUCKS#GoBucks @OhioStateFB @R2X_Rushmen1 @N_Murph pic.twitter.com/00BXZsPuDk

Casto, a Strongsville, Ohio native who graduated from St. Edward High School, spent two years at Robert Morris, where he recorded two tackles as a backup defensive lineman in 2022.
Casto is the second transfer to join the Buckeyes as a preferred walk-on this week along with former Findlay kicker/punter Austin Snyder, who Garrick Hodge wrote about earlier this week. He’s the fourth walk-on transfer to join the Buckeyes this offseason, also joining former Kent State kicker Casey Magyar and former Ashland defensive end Landon Smith, and the 12th overall transfer addition for Ohio State since December.
