Babb is universally loved by our fanbase for his perseverance, rightfully so. It was no fault of his own that his health held him back. He had one career heartwarming TD pass reception. Borland was/still is constantly ridiculed for his lack of footspeed, also no fault of his own. He was a solid 3-year starter. Both were great representatives of OSU and voted captains by the staff and their peers. By all accounts they both gave supreme efforts. Why are they viewed so differently? Is it because Borland's play was able to be dissected and everyone assumes that Babb would have played flawlessly? I respect both of them tremendously, but I don't understand it. ( I hope to get 1 or 2 serious responses before the white-out treatment).
